A Very Brief Review: "Watchmen"

For a story that many claimed was unfilmable, I’ll give “Watchmen” director Zach Snyder a lot of credit for giving Alan “I Love/Hate Hollywood” Moore’s byzantine Cold War tale of real-life superheroes a good shot.

In fact, outside of a goofy sex scene in the sky, “Watchmen” is perhaps the first true superhero movie made for adults, and goes out of its way to stay loyal to the source material.

Jackie Earl Haley is also perfect as Rorschach. He deserves any and all kudos coming for his performance.

So well done, all around. I was happy with the result.
