Spectral

Although after seeing the following photo the first word that popped into my mind was “Katrina,” it is actually a shot of an abandoned Detroit public school – one of many the city has left behind as the city’s population continues to bleed off.


It’s hard to believe that Detroit was once a thriving American city. Today the downtown area is barren of commerce, resembling an urban ghost town.
