Flunked In The Head

Although Americans have a constitutional right to free speech, I really wonder what the small, but loud clatch of protestors at Notre Dame expected to accomplish today during a much-hyped commencement address by Barack Obama – particularly the trio who called on Obama to “stop killing our children” during his speech as if the president were directly responsible for each abortion that occurs in the nation?

Secondly, I have to pile on Arizona State University for justifying its decision this past week not to give Obama an honorary degree at its own commencement because he apparently hasn’t accomplished enough – a baffling rationale which I guess validates my friend Alice’s claim that Arizona is perhaps the single dumbest state in the union.

Well played, enlightened ones. Well played.
