Flashback

Met up today with an old friend I hadn't seen for 23 years who is in town from her current home base of Arizona where she lives with her husband.

After introducing her to a couple of rounds of disc golf, sharing lunch, and taking her to my local comic shop, my throat was pretty sore from all the talking which covered myriad topics including politics, Hellboy, 18th century British history, school days, Alastair Crowley, writing, our families, with a few snide comments tossed in for good measure.

Needless to say, we had a lot to catch up on.
