My One Christmas Wish (Other Than A Submarine)

After trailing US Senate election rival Norm Coleman (R-MN) by 180-odd votes in the current recount, Democrat Al Franken has now eclipsed that lead and overtaken Coleman by 262 votes after the Minnesota Supreme Court this week ruled that absentee ballots which had been previously excluded for clerical errors are now fair game.

The full recounting is not yet complete.

Nevertheless, this means that if Franken wins I get to see Bill O’Reilly’s head explode like that guy in “Scanners” after all.
