This often-embellished biopic of 1930s bank robber John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) and his gang looks great, but doesn't travel particularly well.
Still, it was fun seeing Chicago's Biograph Theatre (where Dillinger was slain by FBI agents in 1934) and the surrounding Lincoln Avenue area restored to its period glory.
