Behold Exhibit A wherein Justice Antonin Scalia is shocked—shocked, I tell you—when told by ACLU attorney Peter Eliasberg during arguments for Salazar v. Buono that the Christian cross is not, in fact, a universal memorial symbol that applies to all U.S. war dead - especially those who are Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or Atheist.
