When it comes to Afghani politics, I’ll happily admit that I know very little except that the current Karzai government (I hesitate to call it an “administration”; more like a puppet state hastily set up by Bush & Pals) is often accused of being riddled with corruption vis-à-vis the recent presidential election which nearly the entire world has written off as a sham.
This said, why does anyone genuinely believe the upcoming “do-over” will be any different?
