Every drop of oil extracted on US soil goes into a global marketplace for petroliates, and is then funneled to regions which maximize profit (e.g. India, China). Or in other words, the suggestion that expanding US oil production directly benefits American consumers (i.e. “Drill, baby. Drill”) is a fucking lie.
